Fundraising Ideas
However you choose to fundraise, every effort makes a difference
Themed Bake Sale with a Twist
Instead of a standard bake sale, make it themed — e.g., "Around the World Desserts" or "Retro Treats from the 80s". People love novelty, and you can charge a little extra for unique presentation.
Community Challenge Event
Host a "24-Hour Read-a-thon", "Cycleathon", "Dance Marathon", or "Steps Challenge" where participants get sponsored for completing a goal (both in-person and virtually).
DIY Craft & Art Fair
Sell handmade goods, with a percentage going to your cause. You can also run a “make-your-own” station for kids and families.
Mystery Box Raffle
Fill boxes with donated items (some high-value, some quirky) and sell tickets for a chance to win. We have licensed tickets if your holding a raffle with the public. The surprise element makes it exciting.
Skills Auction
Instead of physical goods, auction off people’s talents — e.g., a home-cooked dinner, guitar lesson, gardening help, or pet-sitting.
Upcycled Fashion Show
Encourage participants to create outfits from thrifted or recycled materials, then host a runway event with ticket sales and voting.
Virtual Trivia or Quiz Night
Run a themed quiz over Zoom or in person, with entry fees and small prizes. Themes like "TV & Film Classics" or "Local History" can draw a crowd and raise funds in a fun way.
