To celebrate 50 years of Ninewell’s Hospital we’re challenging you to set a health goal for 50 days from 3rd September to the official 50th anniversary on 23rd October with the Foundation 50 Challenge!
Through this challenge you’ll be raising money to support the health and wellbeing of the people in Tayside both now and for future generations!
The Challenge
Whether you aim to run 50km in 50 days or walk 10,000 steps every day or give up smoking or cut out fizzy drinks, the health goal is up to you!
100% of donations will stay local and, if you raise £1000, we’ll add £500 to your total!
Alison Berry and Michelle Greene completed the Kiltwalk 2024 and raised £1031.25 for our general fund (not restricted to a particular ward/project) so we added £500 to their total!

Where your funds will go
Patients journeys can often see them engage with multiple departments and services within NHS Tayside. By donating to our unrestricted fund through Foundation 50, fundraisers and supporters make it an equitable fund for distribution across all wards and departments within NHS Tayside. Some wards often receive more funding than others so the unrestricted fund allows us to support underfunded departments and services.
