Tandem Bungee Jump

Ruby Cunningham and her friend Erin MacGregor completed a daring tandem bungee jump and raised an astonishing £3,600 for the Oncology and Haematology Day Patient Unit at Perth Royal Infirmary (PRI)!

Ruby raised the funds in memory of her mum, Lynne Morgan, who was cared for with compassion and humour by the PRI team.

GT24 Mountain Bike Challenge

Holliegh Matthew raised a phenomenal £9,500 for Paediatric Audiology at King’s Cross Hospital, Dundee! Holliegh tackled the gruelling GT24 mountain bike challenge (covering 189 off-road miles and over 5,000 metres of climbing!) plus other events to give back to the team who supported her son, Nate, following his cochlear implant surgery.

Dundee Kiltwalk 2025

A huge well done to the incredible Stroke and Neuro Team from the Royal Victoria Hospital who raised an amazing £5,229.50 by taking part in the Kiltwalk!

A huge thank you this week goes to the Dundee & District Bowling Clubs Ex-Presidents Association who recently made another incredibly kind donation of £300 to the Roxburghe House Comfort Fund. It was fantastic seeing Treasurer Mr. Bill Howie, Secretary Mr. Jim Doig, and President Mr. Jim Swinton again.

This generous gift will be a great help in providing extra comforts and support for patients at Roxburghe House.

It was a pleasure to welcome the “Baby Bill” team for their cheque presentation after completing the Kiltwalk back in August!

The ‘Baby Bill’ team took on the Dundee Kiltwalk and raised a fantastic £3521 to go towards the Douglas-Ansell Legacy, set up by Bill in support of our Neonatal Department after Bill received care as a newborn at DRI.

A massive well done to The Gassers for raising an incredible £1,435 in support of the Ninewells Theatre Endowment Fund! 


The team took on the Mighty Stride at the Dundee Kiltwalk — what an amazing achievement! 

Staff at Tayside Children’s Hospital (ward 29) were delighted to receive a generous donation of £500 from Mr and Mrs Hendry.

Mr Hendry recently celebrated his 80th Birthday and kindly requested donations to the children’s ward rather than receiving gifts!

We are incredibly grateful to Mr and Mrs Hendry for their thoughtful donation.

Personal Fundraiser

Rhiannon and Neil, who—following the heartbreaking loss of their baby boy, Murphy—turned their grief into an incredible act of generosity in his memory by donating £20,000 to the Tulip Suite in Ninewells Hospital.

The fabulous Matty Movers were the top fundraiser at the Dundee Kiltwalk 2025! A massive congratulations to the amazing team who raised a grand total of £5660!

Following her incredible challenge of climbing seven Munros in one day, Aarya visited Roxburghe House to present the cheque of £5,072.11!

Together with the Roxburghe team, she decided the donation will go towards a special garden bench in memory of her Granny Nel, who loved spending time outdoors.

Alison and Michelle, Speech & Language Therapy Clinical Support Workers at NHS Tayside, walked the Dundee Kiltwalk and raised £760!

Lee Edwards organised a fundraiser at the Douglas Recreational Club in loving memory of his mum and raised £1,030 for Ward 32 (Oncology)!

Friends and family of Kevin Petrie have raised £1,500 for the Oral and Maxillofacial department at NHS Tayside as a thank you for the wonderful care Kevin received while in hospital.

Shirley Docherty made a kind donation of £300 to the epilepsy team! Shirley has a wonderful tradition of fundraising for the epilepsy team every year by knitting beautiful Christmas toys and making festive wreaths.

Natasha and Joni raised an amazing £331 by spending some of their summer holiday selling Loom Bands on Carnoustie beach. The money was donated to Paediatric Oncology.

Gracie and Matthew raised an amazing £1045.00 for Ward 29 at Ninewells Hospital by doing The Kids Spartan Run in Queensferry!

Care Fund of the former St Margaret’s Residential Care Home in Dundee

Bishop Andrew of the Diocese of Brechin presented us with a cheque for £6,500 following the closing balance of the Care Fund of the former St Margaret’s Residential Care Home in Dundee which will be used to benefit Roxburghe House and Royal Victoria Hospital in Dundee

Instead of presents for her 40th birthday, Helen Mills asked friends and family to donate to Ward 29 (Children’s Ward) at Ninewells and raised over £800!

Jaxson recently completed a Tough Mudder on June 7th, raising an incredible £900 for the Neonatal Unit at Ninewells!

The NHS Tayside Pain Service have raised a phenomenal £2,493 for the Roxburghe House comfort fund, in memory of their friend and retired colleague, Mike Nicholas.

Kirsty Dewar raised £800 for the Ward 23b endowment fund, in honour of her mother Avril Blyth.

SVTEC – The Scottish Vintage Tractor & Engine Club raised £250 to support Ward 26 at Ninewells Hospital!

Digby Brown Solicitors held an art competition to fill the pages of their Christmas calendar. Jenny Taylor, a patient in Ward 5, had her artwork chosen and Ward 5 received a donation of £200 towards group funds.

Kerry Findlay generously raised £1,726 for our Tulip Suite after sadly losing her baby boy Anthony in 2020. She presented a beautiful picture of Angel Wings, donated by North Grange Interiors, to hang in our bereavement suite.

Members of Broughty Bowling Club raised a fantastic £1000 for Ward 34-Haematology!

Matty and the Widows Sons Scotland generously donated £200 to Tayside Children’s Hospital!

Fraser Calderwood, Manager at Olympia Dundee raised an amazing £406.25 for Foundation 50 with the proceeds going to Ward 32- Oncology!

Strathmore JAC brought back their tractor run on Hogmanay 2023 involving 50 tractors decorated in their finest lights and festive gear to raise money for the ICU at Ninewells Hospital!

Brenda Laing held an open garden day and raised a fantastic £1140 to be split between Oncology and Breast Imaging!

Danielle Shaw from BlushBeauty who held a fundraiser for Cornhill Macmillan Cancer Centre alongside Kerri Yvonne from Kerri Yvonne Beauty and Massage Therapist and Kaitlyn Park from BareBeauty raising a wonderful £2,500!

The Ward 4 team work together and walked together for Foundation 50!
Starting at Ninewells the team walked approximately 8miles to Broughty Ferry on Saturday 21st September as part of the 50 Year celebrations and have raised an outstanding £1100!

Steph McMahon raised over £2000 for NICU Ninewells by completing an Ultramarathon in June. Half of the funds were used by Fairmuir Girls football team to buy new strips and the rest was donated to the Neonatal Unit at Ninewells.

Jigsaw Media raised £2,500 from their Monikie 10k run with half going to our general fund meaning we added £500 to the total and half going to support Dementia and Alzheimer’s care at Kingsway Care Centre.

Alan Crighton, Kevin Stewart, Scott Robertson and Ryan Nugent completed the 3 peaks challenge on behalf of their friend John Drummond and raised £2514 for the Major Trauma Physiotherapy Unit in Ninewells Hospital!
