Tandem Bungee Jump
Ruby Cunningham and her friend Erin MacGregor completed a daring tandem bungee jump and raised an astonishing £3,600 for the Oncology and Haematology Day Patient Unit at Perth Royal Infirmary (PRI)! ![]()
Ruby raised the funds in memory of her mum, Lynne Morgan, who was cared for with compassion and humour by the PRI team.
Holliegh Matthew
GT24 Mountain Bike Challenge
Holliegh Matthew raised a phenomenal £9,500 for Paediatric Audiology at King’s Cross Hospital, Dundee! Holliegh tackled the gruelling GT24 mountain bike challenge (covering 189 off-road miles and over 5,000 metres of climbing!) plus other events to give back to the team who supported her son, Nate, following his cochlear implant surgery.

Dundee Kiltwalk 2025
A huge well done to the incredible Stroke and Neuro Team from the Royal Victoria Hospital who raised an amazing £5,229.50 by taking part in the Kiltwalk!
Dundee & District Bowling Clubs Ex-Presidents Association
Club Fundraiser
A huge thank you this week goes to the Dundee & District Bowling Clubs Ex-Presidents Association who recently made another incredibly kind donation of £300 to the Roxburghe House Comfort Fund. It was fantastic seeing Treasurer Mr. Bill Howie, Secretary Mr. Jim Doig, and President Mr. Jim Swinton again.
This generous gift will be a great help in providing extra comforts and support for patients at Roxburghe House.

Dundee Kiltwalk 2025
It was a pleasure to welcome the “Baby Bill” team for their cheque presentation after completing the Kiltwalk back in August!
The ‘Baby Bill’ team took on the Dundee Kiltwalk and raised a fantastic £3521 to go towards the Douglas-Ansell Legacy, set up by Bill in support of our Neonatal Department after Bill received care as a newborn at DRI.

Mr Hendry recently celebrated his 80th Birthday and kindly requested donations to the children’s ward rather than receiving gifts!

The Ward 4 team work together and walked together for Foundation 50!
Starting at Ninewells the team walked approximately 8miles to Broughty Ferry on Saturday 21st September as part of the 50 Year celebrations and have raised an outstanding £1100!

Steph McMahon raised over £2000 for NICU Ninewells by completing an Ultramarathon in June. Half of the funds were used by Fairmuir Girls football team to buy new strips and the rest was donated to the Neonatal Unit at Ninewells.

Monikie 10k
Jigsaw Media raised £2,500 from their Monikie 10k run with half going to our general fund meaning we added £500 to the total and half going to support Dementia and Alzheimer’s care at Kingsway Care Centre.

What will my donation be used for?
Your donation will support local NHS hospitals and services in NHS Tayside. You can donate to our general fund which can be used for a variety of purposes, including:
- Buying extra items for patients which will make their visit or stay more comfortable
- Supporting major projects, such as a new unit, an extension or a facility upgrade
- Introducing pioneering ways of delivering care
- Contributing to medical research
- Supporting Volunteer Services
- Funding extra educational and training opportunities for staff
- Providing additional support to patients in the community
