UTMB Ultra Trail 25km
In May 2023, Luciana’s twins Teo and Talia were born sleeping, and in June 2025, Mia was born at 33 weeks, so Luciana and her family spent 4 weeks in NICU with her. In May this year, Luciana undertook the UTMB Ultra Trail 25km in Snowdonia to fundraise as she wanted to give back to the areas that gave her family the most amazing care at the hardest time of their lives and raised £1274 to be split between the Tulip Suite at Ninewells and the Neonatal Unit.
With funding from the NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation, SAMH transformed a Dawson Park bowling green into a thriving therapeutic garden—supporting over 4,200 people with free gardening, yoga, and cooking sessions to boost mental health and build community connection in Dundee.
