Following our successful Impact Event last August, our Fund Development Manager Richard McIntosh and Hazel Anderson, Grant Officer conducted their first visits to Cake or Dice and Neon Digital Arts, located on Commercial Street in Dundee.
Richard McIntosh said, ‘It was a privilege to visit these community groups as supporting the development of community initiatives is a key priority for the foundation in helping to make people’s lives better. These projects are innovative and will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community, and we deeply appreciate their commitment and support.’
Cake or Dice received funding for their Community Board Game Cafe, offering a warm, safe and welcoming space for all.
Neon Digital Arts received funding for staff to facilitate and deliver a program of digital detox training and workshops. The digital detox training are weekly drop-in sessions designed to cater to young people between 12 and 18 years old. These workshops are used to inspire creative writing, slogan and poster making, podcasts and web-based interventions.

Partnership working and supporting other community charities is a key priority for NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation.
